Volunteer work with Community Through Colors is based in Vieques, a small island toward the southeast of Puerto Rico’s main island.

A variety of opportunities in agriculture, community support, engineering and infrastructure
Program Fees include ferry transportation to Vieques, accommodations, hosted meals, and 24/7 in-country support
Past projects have included:
Enhancing farm infrastructure
Preparing and packaging produce and meals for distribution
Improving home sanitation and safety for senior residents
Power washing and sealing roofs and repairing hurricane damage
Repairing a crumbling and leaking carport ceiling
Modifying an exterior storage space to accommodate a washing machine and tub
Widening a bathroom doorway and installing wheelchair accessible modifications
Optional activities (with additional costs) may include:
Bio Bay kayak or boat tour
Visit to Sea Glass Beach
Stroll along the Esperanza Boardwalk
Beach time at Sun Bay Beach
Strolling through Vieques
