We recently started refurbishing Luisa Guadalupe Guadalupe Geriatric Center, the senior center for Vieques.  The original center was closed due to damages following Hurricane Maria. The new center location needs work including electrical, mild roof repair and replacement of peeling paint. Our part of the project includes stripping the existing paint, repainting, sealing the roofs and general cleanup. We are working to fully reopen this facility as it provided a safe place for the elderly to gather and free meals to the poor and homebound as well.  For additional project updates: Follow us on Facebook.
